Terms of Commercial License
If your company (the Company) is involved in well-control training, you understand the significant time and cost involved in developing your own materials, including manuals, practice exercises with answers, class notes, and PowerPoint presentations. Most companies simply lack the time to create all the necessary material from scratch.
Fortunately, Learn Well Control offers a cost-effective solution: rent Edwin Ritchie’s materials at rock-bottom prices on a per-student basis. Rent only what your company needs, with no further obligations to Learn Well Control. Download our presentations in PowerPoint format, and customize them by deleting slides you don’t want or don’t have time to show. You can also reformat them to match your company’s theme. We only ask that you credit Edwin Ritchie and learn-well-control.com on any slides or printouts you use.
Since Learn Well Control’s commercial licenses are valid for one-time use for one class and one resit class if necessary, you are not obligated to purchase additional materials thereafter. The Company and their students may retain all materials for personal use, but the Company cannot use them to conduct further classes or for other commercial purposes unless the license is renewed for the required number of students. Each commercial license permits one download and one printing of the licensed material per student. If a student does not attend, the Company may keep that credit to be applied to a student in a future class. Refunds are not available for downloadable materials. Each class can last a maximum of six months from the date of the first class day, after which the license must be renewed.
By purchasing a commercial license the Company is only renting Learn Well Control’s downloaded materials for one time use and Learn Well Control and Edwin Ritchie shall retain absolute ownership of all the materials. A separate commercial license is required for the instructor and each student in each class. In the event the Company uses more than one instructor for a single class, the instructor license shall cover all the Company’s instructors.
The Company agrees not to broadcast, redistribute, or make any of the downloaded material available to any third party. Additionally, the Company shall not print or copy any materials in excess of the quantity for which they purchased a license.
By purchasing a commercial license, you agree to comply with all the terms and conditions outlined in this license.
